The control chair is a device capable of controlling Ancient systems. Powered by a Zero Point Module, the chair interfaces with the user's mind, allowing them to access computer files, shields, cloaking devices, and weapons systems. They are mainly used for defensive purposes, such as controlling the Ancient drone weapons, but can be used to lookup files and starcharts in the Ancient database, but this is usually done via computer consoles. Anyone with the Ancient gene is capable of operating the control chairs.
