A seek and destroy weapon built by the Ancients, the Drone can be fired either from a ship in space or an installation equipped with a chair interface. It has an organic look and feel to it, as it dome-shaped, with long tentacles protruding out of the back. When a Drone is activated, it glows a bright yellow colour.
These weapons were first discovered by Earth in Antarctica, during Anubis' s assault. They were fired at his fleet, and quickly dispatched all thirty of his warships.
The Drones are powered by Ancient Zero Point Modules. It takes only one of these such devices to deliver a force of several hundred drones on an enemy invader.

Drone
Drones,
when fired, do not operate as individuals, but rather as a
group. Drones that have been fired will work together to target an
enemy's weak spots and exploit them. They are extremely powerful and
