The P90 is a 5.7mm submachine gun
developed by the Belgian manufacturer Fabrique Nationale, and
is the standard weapon for SG
units on off-world missions. It holds a 50 round extended magazine
along the top of the weapon, with rounds being ejected underneath,
and away from the user. The P90 can be clipped to the front of the
SG field vest to allow the wearer more flexibility by not having to
worry about whether the weapon is secure around their person.
